5 week old with hemorrhoids?
My 5 week old strains herself every time she has to go potty (#2) and the doctor has been having us use glycerin suppositories to help stimulate her bowels. Well I noticed right inside her little bum there is a little red bulge (looks just like a hemorrhoid) So I was wondering if there is anything I can buy and put on it to get rid of it, or does a doctor have to prescribe her something? I have an appointment for her but the soonest I can get her in is on Wednesday, so if at all possible I want to get something to give her some relief!

I don’t know of any remedies, but it might be food allergies. I would ask your doctor with you see them.
Have you tried reading the directions on a Preperation H box, maybe use that to take down the Swelling?
They don’t recommend the usual hemorroid suppositories for children because of the painkilling ingredients contained in them.
I think zinc oil cream is something else you can use for hemorroids – but check with the doctor.
