help dealing with hemorroids…?
came down with a pretty decent sized hemorrhoid 2 days ago (about 2 inches long). Looking for advice to relief pain as soon as possible since i will be travelling extensively next week.
I am already using a hemorrhoid cream, Tucks Wipes and icing the hemorrhoid every 3 hours. Also drinking lots of water and eating tons of fiber.
Anything else i should be doing?
Thanks

1. A warm sitz bath is recommended to relief hemorrhoid discomfort. A sitz bath is a bath where you sit in warm water that covers the buttocks and hips only. The warm water in the bath keeps the area clean and reduces inflammation and discomfort. You may take a sitz bath 3 or 4 times a day for 15 to 20 minutes each time. After your sitz bath, it is important to thoroughly dry the area.
2. You may apply petroleum jelly or aloe vera gel to the painful area. You may also use an over-the-counter hemorrhoid ointment.
Go get a Sitz bath at the drug store or walmart and use it correctly with very warm water. Several times a day and you should start to see relief
you are doing the right thing to consume lots of fiber and water, and you should not taking any heavy exercise and stop drinking alcohol, coffee or smoking. That will cure your hemorrhoid faster..
