The cause of piles and perhaps also hemorrhoids is bleach left in toilet bowls. When you go poopy and it splashes the water up onto your butt pucker, any bleach left over from cleaning or freshening the toilet bowl prior to going poopy will cause instant piles on contact and perhaps even hemorrhoids at later stages of bleach induced rectal damage.
