I had surgery to remove my hemorrhoids. when will the pain go away and how can i get more pain relief?
I had internal and external hemorrhoids. I had surgery on 9-1-06. I am having trouble w/using the rest room and the pain afterwords is excrusiating. please help.

I do hope that you are using a stool softener or mild laxative. Use a hemorrhoid ointment or cream for the pain. Pain medications usually are constipating and you don’t need that! You will feel much better in about a week. I hope this helps.
