I have a bedsore on my ass and it hurts to sit. :( What should I do?
It’s not a hemorrhoid, just a regular sore. I’m interested in something which will give me an immediate relief. An ointment or something?
It’s not on my anus, twitterbrain… It’s on my ass. To be precise, on my tailbone.
I don’t think it’s a boil. It’s like a tiny ulcer, closed and hard. If it was elsewhere, I would just ignore it, but the way I sit caused me to directly aggravate it.

Bedsore and boil need to be treated differently. Need more info,would like to help.
are you bedridden? if so you need to be moved from that pressure point immediately. if you’re not bedridden, paraplegic or quadroplegic you need to get up off your *** adn get moving.
the only way to get a bedsore is if u stay in the same position for a LONG period of time… therefore GET UP AND MOVE and u should be fine….
there is something out there called butt paste it works great or balmex should help too…
put some clearasil on it.
Put some neosporin on it and stand up. Make sure to keep the area clean so it doesn’t become infected. It should heal quickly.

If it’s directly on the hole, you should probably get prep H or something, but since you said it’s not a hemorrhoid, you might want to keep off it, get one of those doughnut cushions if you feel like it and keep pressure off of it. If it’s just sore to the touch you’ll probably be fine, if the skin is eroded you might want to have it looked at if it seems not normal looking.
