Stool Softeners during pregnancy?

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and constipation is really beginning to hurt. . . not to mention that the hemorrhoids are killing me as well. I’m just in an awkward way and I want relief. I’ve changed my diet. I’ve added fiber. This has been going on for about three weeks now. When I ask my OB about it she just keeps telling me to change my diet and she gave me cream for the hemorrhoids. I asked about stool softeners and she didn’t really say anything. Do you ladies know if its safe to take any and if so what’s the best kind to get?
Fiber in foods, not Metamucil because I can’t stomach that.

Thanks for the tips.

hi, itching is one of the main signs of hemorrhoids. You might as well notice bleeding, pain to sit down, and a feel of being incapable to finish passing a stool.

Here’s what I suggest you practice to try to cure your hemorrhoids :

    1) Eat lot of fiber – that means eating tons of fruit and vegetables.
    2) Drink In at least 8 glasses of H2O per day.
    3) Get some mil exercise daily if possible ( this will aid your metabolism)
    4) Try On non to sit down for long periods of time.

If the problem holds on after trying this, you might want to take a natural hemorrhoid cure. The most favorite and operative one is VENAPRO

Ive provided link below for more information about hemorrhoids.

When you say you have added fibre – is it in the form of food or supplement – like Metamucil – the stuff you dissolve in water?? Because, this stuff can actually be bad for constipation if not taken correctly. You need to have it with LOADS of water, otherwise it jams you up. I know from experience, then the doctor confirmed it to me. Try a breakfast cereal like All-Bran, that worked a treat for me when I was pregnant. All maybe add some prunes into your diet as well has heaps and heaps of water. I don’t know too much about stool softeners, as the All Bran worked for me, and was recommended by my doctor.

stool softeners are ok just ask the pharmacist if that brand is pregnancy safe. laxatives are not safe! milk of magnesia is gross but works and is safe

I found this particular ebook to be one of the best ones to follow. Primarily because my wife was haveing that problim .
    1. It is VERY to the point while still being detailed. It doesn’t beat around the bush with filler content. The author knows the discomfort of hemorrhoids, so the emphasis is on getting you relieft asap.
    2. In addition to covering quick remedies for relief, the ebook also details some very interesting studies that have proven that hemorrhoids can be permanently treated AND prevented with some very simple lifestyle changes.
You can read the full story on her official site . It just offers the information straight up, and it works.
